		<h2 class="bliss">21,600 sq ft of new lettings at 47 Mark Lane, EC3</h2>

		<p>Land Securities announced today that is has secured lettings totalling some 21,600 sq ft of space at 47 Mark Lane, EC3.  The recently refurbished building has attracted three new tenants for the 1st, 5th and 6th floors generating rental income of approximately &pound;0.7 million per annum.</p>
		<ul>
<li>Gibbs, Hartley Cooper has taken the 1st floor (14,456 sq ft) and three car spaces on a 10 year term with a break at the 2nd and 5th year; </li>
<li>Part of the 5th floor (5,503 sq ft) has been let to Ocean Ship Brokers Limited for a term of 10 years with a break at year 5; and </li>
<li>Clearwater Marine Investments Limited has taken a 5 year lease on part of the 6th floor (1,637 sq ft) for five years. </li>
</ul>
<p>These latest lettings takes total occupancy of the 84,640 sq ft property to over 65% with new space becoming available in the autumn following a refurbishment of the 2nd and 3rd floors.</p>
<p>Commenting on this letting, Mike Bird, Asset Management Director for the London Portfolio said; &ldquo;The recent transactions highlight the attractiveness of this office building in terms of location and quality. Achieving market level rents for all three lettings demonstrates how we are continuing to build income across the Group.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Above a row of retail units at ground level, 47 Mark Lane offers six floors of flexible office space, with good natural light. With its elevated Portland Stone gables and sheer glass fa&ccedil;ade, this makes for an eye-catching address just minutes from London Bridge and Liverpool Street stations, and enjoying easy access to Canary Wharf and City Airport.</p>
